Straight answers, from measured data

Most SEO advice is asserted. These pages answer the questions business owners actually ask using measurements from the Local Digital Visibility Index — 1,156 South West businesses, scored the same way, with the data published so the answers can be checked.

Every figure on these pages is recomputed when the page is built, so none of them can quietly go stale.

Because it would be worthless. A page called “why isn’t my business showing up in Cheltenham” that differs from the Gloucester version only by the town name is a doorway page, and this site would not survive publishing one — the whole claim here is that the figures are real and checkable.

The town-level and sector-level differences live inside these answers, drawn from the data, and in the index for each sector where the numbers actually belong.
